UPDATE: SR-13/ASHBY AVENUE STREET RESURFACING/REPAVING CONSTRUCTION THIS RESUMES WEEK

ALAMEDA COUNTY Resurfacing construction resumes today along State Route (SR)-
13/Ashby Avenue, through Friday, November 2, 2012, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, beginning at Deakin Street to Hillegrass Avenue.

Please note the following resurfacing schedule for SR-13/Ashby Avenue for the week of Oct. 29,
2012:

     Tuesday, Oct. 30: Southbound (S/B) Ottis Street to Deakin Street.

     Wednesday, Oct. 31: Northbound (N/B) Deakin Street to Ottis Street.

     Thursday, Nov. 1:  S/B California Street to Ottis Street.

     Friday, Nov. 2: N/B from Ottis Street to California Street.

for all repaving route details regarding this project, including any detour route information.

Expect delays of up to 30 minutes at some intersections. Posting of NO PARKING signs will be displayed in areas only where work is currently taking place. Portable, changeable message signs will warn motorists of any expected or unanticipated delays along SR13/Ashby Avenue, prior to the beginning of the work.

The Department of Transportation apologizes for any potential disruptions and inconveniences during this time, while making safety our top priority.

Please allow for extra travel time for your travels through the construction zone, and are reminded to be alert for workers and "Slow for the Cone Zone.
