Southbound US-101 Paving in Marin County
Lane Reductions due to Pavement Work
Monday, March 11 to Monday, March 18
SAN RAFAEL, MARIN COUNTY – Caltrans has scheduled a paving project along southbound US-101 in Marin County between the Spencer Avenue on ramp and the Robin Williams tunnel. The new pavement will improve the riding surface and enhance safety. The work is weather dependent.
The schedule is as follows:
• Monday, March 11 through Thrusday, March 14 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 AM two to three lanes will be closed
• Friday, March 15 at 11:00 AM to Saturday, March 16 at 5:00 AM two to three lanes will be closed
• Saturday, March 16 at 5:00 AM through Monday, March 18 5:00 AM one or two lanes will be closed
Motorists are advised to expect significant delays and are encouraged to take alternate routes if necessary.
Remember that traffic fines are doubled in construction zones.
