State Route - 237 Mountain View
Widen Existing Westbound Shoulder and Modify Median Island
Intermittent Lane Closures
Starts Week of May 21, 2018

SANTA CLARA COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform widening of the existing westbound (WB) shoulder and modify median island on State Route-237 (SR-237) between Centre Street and Church Street in the City of Mountain View. Construction is scheduled to begin May 21, and continue through Summer 2018. The project will also include drainage upgrades to SR-237 between of Centre Street and Church Street.

Work hours:
Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM
With intermittent alternating lane closures

During this work, residents may notice increased temporary construction noise. Motorist may experience delays as crews work to repave SR-237 with intermittent alternating lane closures. Ramp closures, and detours signs will be posted. All work is weather permitting.


Please drive cautiously through the construction zone, leave a safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you, and please #BeWorkZoneAlert.
