Water Utility Relocation on Highway 121 (Silverado Trail) at Sarco Creek
Scheduled to begin April 18, 2016
NAPA, California – The City of Napa, the Napa Sanitation District, and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) are working together to relocate utilities during preliminary work on the State Route 121 (SR-121) Sarco Creek Bridge Replacement Project. Construction of the replacement bridge is scheduled to start in early 2017.
As part of the preliminary utility work, the city will begin relocating a water main on Silverado Trail at Sarco Creek (approximately 0.1 miles south of Monticello Road & Silverado Trail). The water main relocation will begin April 18, 2016, and continue through May 31, 2016. This work will require a northbound lane closure along Silverado Trail between Hagen Road and Monticello Road.
Also in preparation for the bridge replacement project, Napa Sanitation District will be relocating sewer mains beginning June 1 and continuing through October 31. This work will require a northbound closure along Silverado Trail between Hagen Road and Monticello Road.
