Caltrans and City of Vallejo Partner in Major Maintenance State Route 29/Sonoma Boulevard Clean-Up
(Video News Release)

SOLANO COUNTY – In this Caltrans News Flash video, Caltrans, the City of Vallejo, and several other area agencies team up in a major maintenance, litter abatement, and landscaping effort at the State Route 29/Sonoma Boulevard off-ramp from eastbound Interstate 80.

Public Information Officer Vince Jacala interviews key members of a successful partnership among Caltrans, the City of Vallejo and several area agencies working together to beautify State Route 29 which serves as a main entrance and thoroughfare in Vallejo through the “Vallejo Interagency Partnership” (VIP) program.

Go behind the scenes, and see Caltrans, the City of Vallejo, and other partnering agencies at work as they trim-back overgrown trees, mow, replace lights under the I-80 overcrossing, clear out trash, and remove graffiti. Production credit: Caltrans District 4 (Oakland).
