Daytime One-Way Traffic Control on State Route 84 from Fox Hill Road to Junction 35 in San Mateo County

San Mateo County- Caltrans maintenance and landscape crews will implement one-way traffic control on a segment of State Route 84, between Fox Hill Road and Old La Honda Road, starting the week of Monday, May 19, 2014, through Friday, May 23, 2014, between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm. Crews will start in the westbound direction and then switch to the eastbound direction. The one-way traffic control will enable crews to perform brush cutting for control of invasive weeds, to clear and establish sight distance through corners and around driveways/turnouts. This will improve motorist safety.

This maintenance operation will not hinder pedestrian traffic or cyclist from accessing State Route 84.

Motorist can expect a minimal delay of less than five minutes. One lane will remain open to motorists during this operation with flaggers and signage in place to help guide motorist through the work area. Please drive carefully and leave a safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you.
