State Route 84-Real McCoy Ferry
Overnight Closure
Due to Preventive Maintenance
Starts Thursday, November 1 at 10:00 PM
until Friday, November 2 at 5:00 AM

SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled an overnight closure of the Real McCoy Ferry on State Route 84 (SR-84) to perform regular preventive maintenance.

The closure is scheduled Thursday, November 1 at 10:00 PM until Friday, November 2 at 5:00 AM.

The Real McCoy also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on SR-84 between Ryer Island and the City of Rio Vista in Solano County.

The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.

Real McCoy Ferry Detour
During the temporary service interruption of the Real McCoy, motorists are advised to use the J-Mack Ferry on State Route 220 or the Miner Slough Bridge on State Route 84 to travel between Ryer Island and communities in Sacramento and Solano counties.

Real McCoy II Ferry Closed For Overnight Maintenance
Starting Thursday, June 4 at 10:00PM

SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily suspend service of the Real McCoy II Ferry to perform routine preventive maintenance. The Real McCoy II is scheduled to be closed Thursday, June 4 at 10:00PM until the morning of Friday, June 5 at 5:00AM. All work is weather permitting.

The Real McCoy II also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.

The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.
Real McCoy II Ferry Detour

During Thursday’s overnight service interruption of the Real McCoy Ferry, and the scheduled long-term closure of the J-Mack Ferry, motorists are advised to use the Miner Slough Bridge on Highway 84 to travel overnight between Ryer Island and neighboring communities in Sacramento and Solano Counties.

From Tuesday, May 5 at 10:00 PM to Wednesday, May 6 at 4:00 AM

SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled an overnight closure of the Real McCoy II Ferry on State Route 84 to perform preventive maintenance.
