Real McCoy II Ferry Closed For Overnight Maintenance
Starting Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 10:00 PM

SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily suspend service of the Real McCoy II Ferry to perform overnight preventive maintenance.

The Real McCoy II is scheduled to be closed Thursday, September 15 at 10:00 PM until the morning of Friday, September 16 at 4:00 AM. All work is weather permitting.

The Real McCoy II also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.

The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.

Real McCoy II Ferry Detour
During Thursday’s overnight service interruption of the Real McCoy Ferry, motorists are advised to use the J-Mack Ferry on State Route 220 or the Miner Slough Bridge on State Route 84 to travel overnight between Ryer Island and neighboring communities in Sacramento and Solano counties.
