State Route 37 in Vallejo
Overnight Full Highway Closures
Start Sunday, July 15, 2018
Due to Pavement Repair Work

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled overnight full highway closures on State Route 37 (SR-37) in Vallejo starting Sunday, July 15 to perform pavement repair work.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and watch for detours on SR-37 each night starting Sunday, July 15 until Thursday, July 19.

The following closures will be in effect on SR-37 each night at 8:00 PM until 6:00 AM the following mornings. Various overnight lane closures will also be in effect on I-80 near SR-37.

Eastbound SR-37 at Fairgrounds Drive Closed Sunday Night July 15. Tuesday Night July 17 and Wednesday Night July 18 Eastbound SR-37 will be CLOSED at Fairgrounds Drive on Sunday, July 15 ,Tuesday, July 17 and Wednesday, July 18 starting each night at 8:00 PM. Detours: Motorists traveling on eastbound SR-37 will detoured to the Fairgrounds Drive offramp, then back onto an eastbound SR-37 auxilary lane to westbound I-80, then exit Tennessee Street and enter eastbound I-80 from Tennesse Street.

Eastbound SR-37 and Westbound I-80 Offramps to Columbus Parkway Closed Monday Night July 16
The eastbound SR-37 and westbound I-80 offramps to Columbus Parkway will be closed on Monday night July 16 starting at 8:00 PM. Detours: Motorists traveling from eastbound SR-37 to Columbus Parkway will be detoured to eastbound I-80, exit American Canyon Road, then enter westbound I-80, exit Tennessee Street, then re-enter eastbound I-80, and exit Columbus Parkway.

Eastbound SR-37 to Eastbound I-80 Connector Closed Wednesday Night, July 18, 2018
The eastbound SR-37 connector to eastbound I-80 will be closed Wednesday, July 18 starting at 8:00 PM. Motorists traveling onto eastbound I-80 from eastbound SR-37 will be detoured to continue on eastbound SR-29, then westbound onto Tennessee Street, then enter eastbound I-80 from Tennessee Street.

Eastbound I-80 to SR-37/Columbus Parkway Connector Closed Thursday Night, July 19, 2018
The eastbound I-80 to SR-37/Columbus Parkway Connector will be closed Thursday, July 19 starting at 8:00 PM. Detour: Motorists traveling from eastbound I-80 to SR-37 will be detoured to continue on eastbound I-80, exit American Canyon Road, enter westbound I-80 and exit SR-37 from westbound I-80

Westbound Interstate 80-Dixon
Dixon Avenue Ramps Closed During Two Consecutive Nights
Starts Wednesday, July 25, 2018
Due to Pavement Repair Work

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled two-consecutive nights of closures of the Dixon Avenue on and offramps at westbound Interstate-80 (I-80) in the City of Dixon to perform pavement repair work.

The Dixon Avenue on and offramps at westbound I-80 will be closed each night on Wednesday, July 25 and Thursday, July 26 starting at 8:00 PM until 5:00 AM the following mornings.

Dixon Avenue Exit from westbound I-80 Detours
Motorists traveling to Dixon Avenue from westbound I-80 are advised to continue on westbound I-80 and exit at Midway Road, then enter eastbound I-80, then exit either Dixon Avenue from eastbound I-80. Detour signs will be posted.

Dixon Avenue Closed at Meridian Road Detours
During the work, Dixon Avenue will be closed to through traffic at Meridian Road.

Dixon Avenue at First Street Detours

Dixon Avenue will also be closed at the I-80 overcrossing coming from the City of Dixon to access westbound I-80. Motorist will be detoured onto eastbound I-80 from Dixon Avenue, then exit I-80 at Pitt School Road, then re-enter westbound I-80 from Pitt School Road.

Schroeder Road at Silveyville Road will be closed. Other nearby city and county roads may also be closed overnight.

Real McCoy Ferry Closed for Emergency Repairs Starting July 10

Real McCoy Ferry
Emergency Repairs Started Tuesday, July 10, 2018
Closed Until Further Notice

SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has suspended service of the Real McCoy Ferry on State Route 84 (SR-84) until further notice to perform emergency repairs to the boat’s propulsion system. The closure started the afternoon of Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

Caltrans will make an announcement once repairs are completed.

The Real McCoy also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on SR-84 between Ryer Island and the City of Rio Vista in Solano County.

The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.

Real McCoy Ferry Detour
During the temporary service interruption of the Real McCoy, motorists are advised to use the J-Mack Ferry on State Route 220 or the Miner Slough Bridge on State Route 84 to travel between Ryer Island and communities in Sacramento and Solano counties.

Full Closure on State Route 61 Northbound/Southbound
At Bay Farm Island Bridge in Oakland/Alameda
July 5 – July 9, 2018

OAKLAND/ALAMEDA, Alameda County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct nightly full closures of State Route 61 (SR-61), Bay Farm Island Bridge starting Thursday night July 5, 2018, through Monday morning July 9, 2018. The work will include scheduled painting and maintenance.

Closure schedule is as follows:

 Thursday night 07/05/2018 from 11:00PM to Friday morning 5:00AM
 Friday night 07/06/2018 from 12:00 midnight to Saturday morning 7:00AM
 Saturday night 07/07/2018 from 12:00 midnight to Sunday morning 7:00AM
 Sunday night 07/08/2018 from 11:00PM to Monday morning 5:00AM

Detour Details of the closures are as follows:
• NB SR-61 Bay Farm Island Bridge: traffic traveling NB on SR-61 Doolittle Drive turn left on Hegenberger Road; enter NB I-880 on-ramp and exit at High Street off-ramp; left on High Street; right on Howard Street; left on Alameda Avenue; left on Fruitvale Avenue; Left on Broadway; and left on Otis Drive

• SB SR-61 Bay Farm Island Bridge: traffic traveling SB on Otis Drive turn left on Broadway; right on Tilden Way; travel on Tilden Way/Fruitvale Avenue; right on Alameda Avenue; right on Howard Street; left on High Street; right on Oakport Street; enter SB I-880 on-ramp and exit at Hegenberger Road off-ramp; right on Doolittle Drive

• Traffic from SB Fernside Boulevard: right on Otis Drive; right on Broadway; right on Tilden Way; travel on Tilden Way/Fruitvale Avenue; right on Alameda Avenue; right on Howard Street; left on High Street; right Oakport Street; enter SB I-880 on-ramp and exit at Hegenberger Road off-ramp; right on Hegenberger Road; right on NB SR-61 Doolittle Drive

Advance warning changeable message signs, detour signs and construction crew flaggers will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area.

This work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if necessary. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute. Please drive with caution through the construction zone, leave a safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you, and Slow for the Cone Zone.

California Highway Patrol will be on site during night closures.
