State Route 121-Between Circle Oak Drive and Wooden Valley Road
Update-Partial Reopening of Highway
Friday, March 25 at 6:00 PM
NAPA COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is scheduled to partially reopen State Route 121 (SR-121) in Napa County after a section of the roadway was damaged during heavy rain storms earlier this month.
The damaged section of SR-121 between Wooden Valley Road and Circle Oak Drive in rural Napa County had been closed since March 13 when heavy rains undermined the northbound SR-121 traffic lane.
Crews are scheduled to activate temporary traffic signal lights just north and south of the damaged roadway on Friday, March 25 at 6:00 PM. Temporary traffic signals will allow northbound and southbound SR-121 motorists to pass the erosion site by alternating use of the existing southbound SR-121 lane.
Motorists are required to make a complete stop when the traffic signal lights are red.
Drivers may also encounter additional flaggers and heavy construction equipment in area as permanent repairs to the northbound SR-121 lanes continue.
Please drive with caution and expect delays of up to 5-10 minutes. #BeWorkZoneAlert
