Real McCoy II Ferry – Returned to Service
Emergency Repairs-Completed Monday, May 4 at 2:45 PM
SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has returned the Real McCoy II Ferry to regular service on State Route 84, after completing emergency mechanical repairs.
The emergency closure went into effect Monday, May 4 at 10:00 AM.
Crews were able to complete the repairs and return the Real McCoy to service the same day, Monday, May 4 at approximately 2:45 PM.
The Real McCoy II also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.
The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.
