Real McCoy II Ferry -Closed For Emergency Repairs
Effective Monday, May 4 10:00 AM

SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has temporarily suspended service of the Real McCoy II Ferry on State Route 84 to perform emergency mechanical repairs.

As of Monday, May 4 at 10:00 AM, service is suspended until further notice. Caltrans will notify the public once a time to return the boat to service is determined.

The Real McCoy II also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.

The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.

During the service interruption of the Real McCoy and the long-term closure of the J-Mack Ferry, motorists are advised to use the Miner Slough Bridge on Highway 84 to travel between Ryer Island and neighboring communities in Sacramento and Solano Counties.
