Interstate 280 Rehabilitation Project
Santa Clara County
Weekday construction is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following day. Weekend work will start Friday evening from 8:00 PM to 10:00 AM (Saturday morning) and Saturday evening from 8:00 PM to 12:00 PM (Sunday morning). The project is expected to be completed this summer 2015.
Schedule for grinding operations:
Tuesday 4/14 to Wednesday 4/15, Southbound De Anza to Wolfe Road
Thursday 4/16 to Sat 4/18, Southbound Foothill Blvd to De Anza
Detour: There will be intermittent freeway and ramp closures during the week, but Caltrans will always provide at least one open lane in either direction of travel and never close two consecutive ramps. Construction noise will be unavoidable; however, it will be kept within approved construction noise levels.
