State Route 220-J-Mack Ferry
Mandatory Dry Dock Upgrade Work Completed
Boat Returned to Service

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) returned the J-Mack Ferry to service at approximately 2:15PM on Thursday, July 2.

The J-Mack Ferry located on State Route 220 (SR-220) in the Delta was closed since Thursday, March 26 at 12:01 AM for scheduled long-term mandated dry dock repairs and inspections.

During the closures and repairs, the J-Mack was temporarily moved to a dry dock facility for the mandated U.S. Coast Guard inspections, upgrades and repair work to better suit the needs of the traveling public.
The J-Mack provides around the clock service on State Route 220 between Ryer Island in Solano County and Grand Island in Sacramento County.
