Caltrans tries to avoid doing any work during commune peak hours except for emergency circumstances. In this particular case we had to schedule emergency stripping on fading lines and the process to apply these stripes requires warmer temperatures.

Due to the fact that the stripping process requires warmer temperatures Caltrans had to schedule this process during the day time.
