FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Highway 160-Paving Work In The Delta
One Way Traffic Controls In Effect Starting October 22nd
SACRAMENTO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will begin three days of paving work on Highway 160 in the Delta starting Tuesday, October 22nd until Thursday, October 24th.
The paving work will include sections of Highway 160 in Sacramento County between Highway 12 and Brannan Island State Park.
For worker and public safety, one-way traffic controls are scheduled Tuesday, October 22nd, Wednesday, October 23rd, and Thursday, October 24th.
During one-way traffic controls, one lane of traffic will remain open at all times, with crews alternating traffic in the northbound and southbound directions. Traffic on Highway 160 will be reduced to one-lane starting each day at 8:30 a.m. until approximately 3:30 p.m. each day.
Flaggers and the California Highway Patrol (CHP) will help direct traffic. Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time. Work is weather permitting.
Caltrans appreciates your patience as we work to maintain our highways.
