Interstate 80-Fairfield
Intermittent Lane Closures
Expect Delays
Due to Mandatory Bridge Inspections
Thursday, January 11, 2018

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform mandatory bridge inspections on Interstate-80 (I-80) in Fairfield on Thursday, January 11, 2018.

The inspections of multiple overcrossings above I-80 are part of Caltrans’ regular preventive maintenance schedule.

Eastbound and Westbound I-80 Lane Closures
To ensure worker and public safety, motorists are advised that two of the 4-5 traffic lanes on eastbound I-80 between Interstate-680 (I-680) and Travis Boulevard will be closed starting at 9:00 AM until approximately 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 11.

During that same day, two of the 4-5 traffic lanes on westbound I-80 between I-680 and Travis Boulevard will also be closed starting at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

CHP will help direct motorists. Please allow for extra time and expect delays.
