J-Mack Ferry-Approach Ramp Paving
Temporary Closure
Rescheduled To
Friday, October 13, 2017 starting at 10:00 AM
SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily close the J-Mack Ferry on State Route 220 (SR-220) in the Delta to pave the approach lanes to the ferry dock.
The J-Mack closure originally scheduled to start Thursday, October 12 at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM has been rescheduled due to emergency repairs on the Real McCoy Ferry.
The J-Mack is now scheduled to close starting Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM that same day. The J-Mack Ferry runs on a cable across Steamboat Slough between Ryer Island in Solano County and Sacramento County.
The J-Mack, provides around the clock service on SR-220.
During the closure, motorists are advised to use the Real McCoy Ferry, also known as the Cache Slough Ferry along State Route 84 (SR-84) of the Miner Slough Bridge on SR-84.
