Highway Reopened
Storm Damage Repairs Made
Between Marklee Cove and Pleasant Valley Road
NAPA, SOLANO AND YOLO COUNTIES – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has reopened State Route 128 (SR-128) between Marklee Cove and Pleasant Valley Road in rural Napa, Solano and Yolo counties after crews were able to clear multiple rock slides and make related roadway repairs. SR-128 was reopened on January 23, 2017.
The 5-mile stretch of SR-128 was closed last week due to a rock slide on the highway in Solano County and in Yolo County where storm waters uprooted a giant tree undermining the roadway.
In the meantime, motorists should continue to drive with caution through the area as Caltrans is closely monitoring the hillsides and may need to intermittently close one of two lanes on SR-128 as the winter storm season continues.

State Route 113-Solano County
Closed Due to Flood Damage
Estimated to Reopen
January 17, 2017 at 10:00 PM
SOLANO COUNTY – State Route 113 (SR-113) between Creed Road and Hay Road which was closed during last week’s storms is now estimated to be reopened by 10:00 PM on Tuesday, January 17. The closure is just south of the City of Dixon in unincorporated Solano County.
SR-113 has been closed since January 11 after a section of the roadway flooded. Caltrans was able to repair an adjacent culvert and repair that initial section of roadway on Monday, January 16.
However, a second storm-damaged section of highway was discovered nearby. That second section was undermined by water. Caltrans is now pouring cement to shore-up that second damaged section and is working to complete repairs and possibly reopen SR-113 by the night of January 17.
During the closure, motorists are advised to use State Route 12 (SR-12) and Interstate 80 (I-80) as alternate routes between Fairfield/Dixon/Vacaville and the Delta region.
Drivers should expect delays and if possible take alternate routes.
