State Route 29-Channelization Project-Napa County
Updates Starting Sunday, January 31

NAPA COUNTY – Caltrans and its local stakeholders are continuing construction of the State Route 29 (SR-29) Channelization Project in and near St. Helena in Napa County.

Below is the two week project update.

WEEKS STARTING JANUARY 31, 2016 THROUGH FEBRUARY 13, 2016
• Storm water maintenance and erosion control btwn Mee Lane and Charter Oak Avenue
• Traffic delineation maintenance btwn Mee Lane and Charter Oak Avenue

Work is 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. No lane closures scheduled.

Night Work
• Sewer repair work on SR-29 from Charter Oak Avenue to Sulphur Creek Bridge

Work is scheduled 9:00 PM until 6:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday. One-way traffic control will be used at Charter Oak Avenue. Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.

Emergency Roadway Repairs in Daly City
State Route 1 at the Clarinada Avenue Off-Ramp (San Mateo County)

San Mateo County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will begin an emergency roadway drainage repair project in the city of Daly City on State Route 1 at Clarinada Avenue southbound off-ramp on January 14, 2016.

Crews will begin placing k-rail beginning at 9:00 AM on January 14. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Once the k-rail is in place, there will be a lane reduction for through traffic. Detour signs will be in place to help guide motorist through the construction zone.

This project is scheduled to be completed in approximately 30 days.

NOTE: Residents may notice increased noise from equipment and mandatory backup alarms while the contractor is working in the construction zone.

• Storm water maintenance and erosion control between Mee Lane and Charter Oak Avenue
• Drainage system work along shoulder at Mills Lane and between Inglewood Avenue and Stice Lane

Work is scheduled 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, weather permitting. No lane closures scheduled. Lanes may be shifted and widths may be reduced in certain work areas for safety. There is no night work scheduled for this week.

Caltrans Completes Repaving I-680 Solano Co-Ahead of Schedule

Interstate 680 - Rehabilitation Project
Between Fairfield and Benicia
Caltrans Completes Construction
Ahead of Schedule

SOLANO COUNTY –The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has completed construction of the Interstate 680 (I-680) Rehabilitation Project in Solano County.

The $13 million project rehabilitates and repaves approximately 13 miles of northbound and southbound I-680 between Fairfield and Benicia and also improves safety for the approximately 100,000 daily motorists traveling this busy route between the Bay Area and Sacramento.

Construction started in spring 2015 with final paving completed in mid-December 2015. Work finished ahead of the original completion date of the first quarter of 2016.

The project resurfaced the two northbound and two southbound traffic lanes of I-680, repaired the existing median metal guardrails, and roadway lighting.
