Westbound
Interstate-80-Fairfield
Travis Boulevard and Oliver
Road-Ramp Closures
Maintenance Work-Tuesday,
April 1st
SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation
(Caltrans) will perform maintenance work on westbound Interstate-80 in
Fairfield.
Crews will
trim trees, remove litter and clean-out drains. All work is weather permitting.
To ensure
worker and public safety, the westbound I-80 on ramp at Travis Boulevard and
the westbound I-80 off-ramp at Oliver Road will be closed on Tuesday, April 1st
at 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. The following detours will be in effect.
Detour-Westbound I-80 on-ramp at
Travis Boulevard
Motorists
heading westbound onto I-80 from northbound Travis Boulevard will be detoured
to Oliver Road and enter westbound I-80 from Oliver Road.
Motorists
heading onto westbound I-80 from southbound Travis Boulevard will be detoured
onto eastbound I-80, then will turn around at Air Base Parkway and enter
westbound I-80 from Air Base Parkway.
Detour-Westbound I-80 off-ramp at
Oliver Road
Motorists
exiting westbound I-80 at Oliver Road will continue on westbound I-80 past the
closure then exit at Abernathy/Suisun Valley Road.
Detour signs
will be posted. Motorists should allow for extra travel time and expect delays.
