Westbound I-80 Air Base Parkway Off-ramp
Closure in Fairfield Starts Monday
SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of
Transportation (Caltrans) will be clearing encampments and conducting
maintenance work near the westbound Interstate 80 off-ramp onto Air Base Parkway
in Fairfield starting Monday, January 7th.
To ensure
worker and public safety during the work, the westbound I-80 off-ramp onto Air
Base Parkway will be closed starting Monday, January 7th at 8:30 a.m.
The off-ramp will be closed each day Monday through Friday beginning at 8:30
a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The project is scheduled to be completed on Friday,
January 11th.

Detour
Motorists
headed onto the Air Base Parkway off-ramp from westbound I-80 are advised to
continue on westbound I-80, and exit at Travis Boulevard, then enter eastbound
I-80 and exit Air Base Parkway from eastbound I-80.
Detour signs
will be posted to direct motorists during the closures. Motorists should allow
for extra travel time and expect delays.
