Nighttime Lane/Ramp Closures Scheduled for Interstate 80 (I-80) Carquinez Bridge –
June 30 through July 8

Crockett/Vallejo, Calif. – Caltrans is conducting work for a project to resurface Interstate 80 (I-80) across the Carquinez and Zampa Bridges between Crockett in Contra Costa County and Vallejo in Solano County.

The following closures will impact I-80 eastbound and westbound across the Carquinez and Zampa Bridges nightly:

• I-80 EB and WB will have lane reductions from Thursday June 30 at 8:00 PM until Friday July 1 at 5:00 AM. Holiday travelers, please take note of potential delays.

• There will be no project lane closures from Friday July 1 at 5:00 AM through Tuesday July 5 at 8:00 PM.

• I-80 EB and WB will have nightly lane reductions from Tuesday July 5 through Thursday July 7 from 8:00 PM until 5:00 AM the following day.

• The I-80 eastbound on ramp and off ramp at Pomona Street in Crockett may be closed intermittently for the same time periods. Motorists will be directed to take detours at Cummings Skyway.
