CALTRANS and CHP LITTER ENFORCEMENT DAY – June 15, 2016
WHAT: Caltrans and the CHP will work together to support Litter Enforcement Day on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Caltrans Maintenance crews in the Bay Area will focus efforts throughout the day sweeping, removing graffiti and cleaning litter alongside the highways. The CHP Commercial Mobile Road Enforcement units will also focus on litter enforcement and educating drivers to cover their loads.
WHEN: Wednesday, June 15, 2016
WHERE: Caltrans employees will be working at various locations around the Bay Area including the following:
Alameda County
Interstate 80 from A Street to Washington Blvd
Contra Costa County
Highway 4 from San Marco to Loveridge
Bay Area Tunnels
Devils Slide Portal 1; Posey/Webster Portals
Bay Area Bridges
SFOBB approach; Richmond Toll Plaza
WHO: Caltrans is partnering with several cities around the Bay Area, including Sonoma, Fremont, Hayward, Oakland, Vallejo, San Jose, Cupertino and more.
Individuals, organizations and businesses can join litter abatement and recycling activities in local communities this week and into the weekend.
