Highway 12-Jameson Canyon-Full Overnight Closure Starts Friday, August 1 at 11 p.m.
SOLANO COUNTY –Caltrans, the Solano Transportation
Authority (STA), and the Napa County Transportation and Planning Agency (NCTPA)
are scheduled to switch traffic from the existing roadway configuration on Highway
12-Jameson Canyon in Solano County the night of Friday, August 1.

lanes. After this switch is completed,
motorists will be driving on one new traffic lane eastbound and one new traffic
lane westbound on a section of Highway 12 just west of Red Top Road.
Two traffic
lanes inside the safety barriers will remain closed until the project nears
completion in a few weeks. The temporary configuration will allow crews to
complete the final concrete median work.
The entire
six-mile widening project with two lanes of eastbound and two lanes of
westbound traffic is tentatively scheduled to be completed sometime in
September.

worker and public safety during Friday night’s full highway closure, eastbound
