Highway 12-Jameson Canyon Alternating Lane Closures
Striping
Work Continues Until Friday, March 14th
NAPA and SOLANO COUNTIES – The California Department of
Transportation (Caltrans) will implement ongoing lane striping work as part of
the Highway 12-Jameson Canyon widening project in Napa and Solano Counties.
The striping
requires crews to alternate lane closures on eastbound and westbound Highway 12
between the Napa/Solano County line and Highway 29. One lane of traffic on
Highway 12-Jameson Canyon will remain open at all times. This phase of work
started the morning of Tuesday, March 11th and will be completed on Friday,
March 14th. The alternating
lane closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
All work is weather permitting.
Motorists
should expect delays and allow for extra travel times.
Highway 12-Jameson Canyon Alternative
Route
To avoid
delays, motorists may consider using Highway 37 as an alternative route.
Eastbound
Highway 12 motorists are advised to use southbound Highway 29 to eastbound
Highway 37 to eastbound Interstate 80.
Westbound
Highway 12 motorists should use westbound Interstate 80 to westbound Highway 37
to northbound Highway 29.
