Ramp Closures-Detours Oliver Road-Fairfield
Two Nights Paving Work Starts Monday,
December 2nd
SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of
Transportation (Caltrans) will be performing pavement repair work on Oliver
Road between westbound Interstate 80 at the Oliver Road/West Texas Street Exit
and Rockville Road in Fairfield.
Two nights of
work are scheduled starting Monday, December 2nd at 9 p.m.
To ensure
worker and public safety, the work will require the overnight closure of a
portion of Oliver Road with detours and the closure of two exit ramps.
WB I-80, Oliver Road/West Texas Street,
Exit Closed
The westbound
I-80 exit to Oliver Road/West Texas Street in Fairfield will be closed each
night Monday, December 2nd and Tuesday, December 3rd starting
at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. As a detour, motorists are
advised to proceed on westbound I-80, then exit Abernathy Road, then enter
eastbound I-80, and exit either West Texas Street or Travis Boulevard.
EB Oliver Road Closed
Eastbound
Oliver Road will be closed between Hartford Ave and Rockville Road each night
Monday, December 2nd and Tuesday, December 3rd starting
at 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. As a detour, motorists are
advised to proceed on Holiday Lane to westbound I-80, then exit Abernathy and
continue on eastbound I-80 to West Texas Street.
WB West Texas Street to Oliver Road
Detour
Westbound Oliver
Road will be closed between Rockville Road and Hartford Avenue each night
Monday, December 2nd and Tuesday, December 3rd starting
at 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. As a detour, motorists are
advised to proceed on westbound I-80, then exit Abernathy and continue on
eastbound I-80 to Travis Boulevard.

Detour signs
will be posted to direct motorists during the exit ramp closures. Motorists
should allow for extra travel time and expect delays. All work is weather
permitting.
