Real McCoy II Ferry Scheduled For Preventive Maintenance
Overnight Closure Thursday, May 9th
SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily suspend service of the Real McCoy II Ferry overnight on Thursday,               May 9th to perform regular preventive maintenance.
The Real McCoy II is scheduled to be closed Thursday, May 9th at 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. on Friday, May 10th. All work is weather permitting.
The Real McCoy II, also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.
The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.
Real McCoy II Ferry Detour
During the service interruption, motorists are advised to use Highway 160 and the        J-Mack Ferry along Highway 220.
