INTERSTATE 680 AUXILIARY
LANES IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
RAMP AND LANE CLOSURES
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY – Caltrans has scheduled additional ramp
closures for the Interstate 680 Auxiliary Lanes Improvement Project in Danville
and San Ramon.
I-680 Lane Closures
In order to shift lanes,
place K-rail, and perform other construction activities, there will be various
lane closures for the next few weeks, Monday night through Thursday night, from
8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Friday night from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Other activities will
take place during the day, behind the K-rail.

Ramon Boulevard in Danville
In addition, for the next three or four months, there
will be shoulder closures and one way traffic control, as necessary, on Camino
Ramon Boulevard, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
San
Ramon Valley Road in Danville
Beginning Monday, April 8, Caltrans will close
the northbound bike lane on San Ramon Valley Road, from Fountain Spring Road
and continue north for about 2000 feet. Due to construction activities, the
northbound bike lane will remain closed for three or four months.
This work is weather dependent. If work is delayed due to weather conditions,
it will be rescheduled. Please
drive cautiously through the construction zone and leave a safe traveling
distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you. Please remember to “Move Over” for
construction workers and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
