Bridge Repair Work
Starts Tuesday, June 5, 2018

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will begin approximately 2-3 weeks of bridge repair work on the Manuel Campos Parkway Overcrossing above Interstate-80 (I-80) in Fairfield starting Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

Crews will perform maintenance repairs to the bridge structure.
The work is scheduled to start Tuesday, June 5 at 8:00 AM and be completed as early as Friday, June 22 at 5:00 PM.

Temporary Lane Closures and Lane Shift-Bridge Remains Open
To ensure worker and public safety, northbound and southbound traffic lanes on the Manuel Campos Parkway Overcrossing, between North Texas Street and Hilborn Road, will be temporarily reduced to one lane in each direction.

Motorists may also encounter a slight traffic shift approaching the bridge on Manuel Campos Parkway. One lane in each direction on the overcrossing will remain open at all times.

To perform repairs underneath the bridge, various nightly lane closures on eastbound I-80 below the overcrossing will also be in effect during the work. I-80 will remain open.

Motorists should always drive with caution through construction zones and watch for temporary lane markings and signs.
