FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

State Route 113-Dixon
Full Highway Closure During Five Consecutive Days
Starts Monday, April 30, 2018
Due to Underground Culvert Repair

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled five-consecutive days of closures on State Route 113 (SR-113) between Hawkins Road and Fry Road in rural Solano County to perform underground culvert repair.

Sections of the culvert located underneath the highway will be repaired and/or replaced. The closure is just south of the City of Dixon in unincorporated Solano County.

SR-113 will be closed during daytime hours on Monday, April 30 until Friday, May 4. The closures will start each day at 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM the same day.

Southbound SR-113 Detours
Motorists traveling on southbound SR-113 will be detoured onto Hawkins Road, to Clark Road, to Fry Road and re-enter SR-113 from Fry Road.

Northbound SR-113 Detours
Motorists traveling on northbound SR-113 will be detoured onto Fry Road, to Clark Road, to Hawkins Road and re-enter SR-113 from Hawkins Road.

SR-113 was closed temporarily during heavy rains in January 2017.

The current culvert repairs will additionally improve drainage on and adjacent to SR-113 and make the highway less flood-prone in the future.
