State Route 29 and Trower Avenue
Drainage and Curb Work
In Preparation of SR-29 Pavement Repair Project

NAPA COUNTY— The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and its contractor have started work in preparation of a long-term project to repair the pavement on State Route 29 (SR-29) between the City of Napa and just south of the City of St. Helena.

Preparation Work on SR-29 in Napa
The preparation work includes drainage and curb repair work at various intersections on SR-29 in the City of Napa. The locations include: SR-29 at Trower Avenue, SR-29 at Wine Country Avenue and SR-29 at Salvador Avenue.

The daytime preparation work started the week of March 7, 2018.
Regular work hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM each day.

Although no traffic lane or highway closures are scheduled at this time, motorists should drive with caution through the work zone.

Additional Pavement Repair on SR-29 through the Napa Valley
After the preparation work is completed, pavement repairs are scheduled to start as early as late March-May 2018. The project will repair the pavement on approximately 15 miles of northbound and southbound SR-29 between Napa and just south of St. Helena.
