State Route 84 Real McCoy Ferry
Returned to Service
Emergency Repairs Completed

SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has returned the Real McCoy Ferry on State Route (SR-84) to service after completing emergency repairs to the boat’s loading ramp.

The Real McCoy resumed service at approximately 12:15 PM on January 23, 2018.

The boat was closed for emergency repairs on January 8, 2018. The boat’s ramp was damaged during rough weather earlier this month.

The Real McCoy also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on SR-84 between Ryer Island and the City of Rio Vista in Solano County.

The Delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.
