Real McCoy II Ferry Closed For Overnight Maintenance
Starting Thursday, June 4 at 11:00PM

SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily suspend service of the Real McCoy II Ferry to perform routine preventive maintenance. The Real McCoy II is scheduled to be closed Thursday, June 4 at 11:00PM until the morning of Friday, June 5 at 4:00AM. All work is weather permitting.

The Real McCoy II also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.

The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.

During Thursday’s overnight service interruption of the Real McCoy Ferry, and the scheduled long-term closure of the J-Mack Ferry, motorists are advised to use the Miner Slough Bridge on Highway 84 to travel overnight between Ryer Island and neighboring communities in Sacramento and Solano Counties.
