Eastbound Interstate 80-Vacaville
Peabody Road/Cliffside Drive Off-Ramp Closure
Starts Monday, February 23, 2015
SOLANO COUNTY–The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is
starting a five-day major maintenance effort at the eastbound Interstate 80 (I-80) Peabody Road/Cliffside Drive off-ramp in Vacaville on Monday, February 23 at 8:00AM.
Crews will perform major tree trimming, shrub removal and other maintenance in the area.
To ensure worker and public safety, the eastbound I-80 Peabody Road/Cliffside Drive off-ramp will be closed from 8:00AM until 2:00PM for five consecutive days starting on Monday, February 23 until Friday February 27. All work is weather permitting.
Detour-During Ramp Closure
During the off-ramp closure, the following detour will be in effect:
Motorists are advised to continue on eastbound I-80 past the Peabody Road/Cliffside Drive off-ramp, exit Allison Drive, then turn left on Allison Drive, and continue across the I-80 overcrossing, then turn right onto Monte Vista Avenue, and enter westbound I-80 from Monte Vista. Motorists will then continue on westbound I-80, and exit westbound
I-80 at Mason Street. Detour signs will also be posted.
Drivers should allow for extra travel time. CHP will help direct motorists.
