Parking and Bus Stop Changes-Start January 2015
To ensure worker and public safety, starting on or about January 22, some parking spaces on SR-29/Lincoln Avenue in Calistoga will no longer be available.

Some VINE Transit Bus stops will also be relocated. For additional VINE Transit information go to: http://www.ridethevine.com/routes-schedules or call 800-696-6443

During soil sampling and construction, traffic lanes on northbound and southbound
SR-29 (Lincoln Avenue) in Calistoga will remain open. Regular work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM until 3:30 PM each day. All work is weather permitting. Motorists should allow for extra travel time.

Soil Sampling
This initial soil sampling work will be completed in approximately two weeks after the work commences in January 2015. The main bridge construction work is scheduled to start in spring 2017 and be completed as early as the end of 2018.

SR-29 Napa River Bridge (Calistoga) Replacement Project
Caltrans will replace the existing SR-29 Napa River Bridge in Calistoga. A new bridge will be built in phases at the site of the existing bridge. The existing bridge must be replaced because of years of wear at its base from the Napa River.
