Eastbound State Route 37 to Westbound Interstate 80
Overnight Connector Closures-Vallejo
Start Thursday, October 23 at 10 p.m.

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the Solano Transportation Authority (STA), and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) are continuing work on the next phase of ramp meter activation in Solano County on the eastbound State Route 37 (SR-37) connector ramp to westbound Interstate-80 (I-80) in Vallejo. Ramp meters in Vallejo are tentatively scheduled to be activated in 2015.

As part of the work, crews will relocate concrete safety barriers, and pave the roadway during three consecutive nights starting Thursday, October 23 at 10 p.m.

For the safety of construction crews and motorists, the eastbound SR-37 connector to westbound (I-80) is scheduled to be closed overnight for three consecutive nights.

Eastbound SR-37 connector to westbound I-80 closures scheduled:
Thursday, October 23 at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. on Friday, October 24
Friday, October 24 at 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Saturday, October 25
Saturday, October 25 at 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. on Sunday, October 26

Motorists should plan for extra travel time. All work is weather permitting.

Detour Information:
During the closure of the eastbound SR-37 connector to westbound I-80, motorists
will be detoured onto eastbound I-80, then exit at American Canyon Road/ Hiddenbrooke Parkway, then westbound on American Canyon Road, then enter westbound I-80 from American Canyon Road. Detour signs will be posted.
