Eastbound Interstate-80-Fairfield
Suisun Valley Road-Ramp Closures and Detours
Monday, June 16th

  

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform paving repair work on eastbound Interstate-80 (I-80) in Fairfield on Monday, June 16th. Crews will repair a section of roadway which has deteriorated over time.

To ensure worker and public safety during the work, the eastbound I-80 on-ramp and off-ramp at Suisun Valley Road will be closed on Monday, June 16th starting at 6:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The following detours will be in effect.

Detour-Eastbound I-80 on-ramp at Suisun Valley Road
Motorists heading onto eastbound I-80 from northbound Suisun Valley Road, will turn right following the frontage road and detour signs back to the eastbound I-80 Green Valley Road on-ramp, and enter eastbound I-80 from Green Valley Road.

Motorists heading onto eastbound I-80 from southbound Suisun Valley Road will follow detour signs over the I-80 overcrossing to Suisun Valley Parkway, then turn right back to the eastbound I-80 onramp, and enter eastbound I-80 from Suisun Valley Parkway.

Drivers exiting eastbound I-80 at Suisun Valley Road will be detoured to exit at Abernathy/Suisun Valley Parkway then directed onto westbound I-80, and exit Suisun Valley Road/Green Valley Road from westbound I-80.

Detour signs will be posted. Motorists should allow for extra travel time.
Allow work is weather permitting.
