FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Highway 12-Suisun City
One-Way Traffic Controls
Four Nights of Paving-Start Sunday, April 13th

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform four consecutive nights of paving work on Highway 12 between Walters Road in Suisun City and Highway 113 starting on Sunday, April 13th at 8:30 p.m. Crews will repair and repave the roadway which has deteriorated over time.

The work is scheduled to start Sunday, April 13th at 8:30 p.m. and be completed the morning of Thursday, April 17th at 5 a.m. Work will start each day Sunday through Wednesday at 8 p.m. and conclude at 5 a.m. the following mornings. All work is weather permitting.
To ensure public and worker safety, one-way traffic controls will be in effect on Highway 12 between Walters Road and Highway 113. The work will be done on westbound Highway 12. However, crews will alternate lane closures in both westbound and eastbound directions. This will allow one lane on the highway to remain open during the work.
Flaggers with a pilot car will help direct traffic. Caltrans will also install portable message signs alerting drivers. Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time.
