Westbound Interstate-780 to Eastbound I-80 Connector Closure Overnight-Vallejo Emergency Guardrail Repairs

Westbound Interstate-780 to Eastbound I-80
Connector Closure Overnight-Vallejo
Emergency Guardrail Repairs

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform emergency guardrail repairs on the westbound Interstate-780 connector to eastbound Interstate-80 in Vallejo.

To ensure worker and public safety during the work, the westbound I-780 connector to eastbound I-80 will be closed starting Thursday, March 13th at 8 p.m. until Friday, March 14th at 5 a.m.

The following detour will be in effect during the work.

Detour Route-westbound I-780 to eastbound I-80
Motorists heading westbound on I-780 to eastbound I-80 are advised to exit I-780 at Cedar Street/Reis Avenue exit, then left onto Reis Avenue (eastbound), then right onto Laurel Street (northbound), proceed on Laurel Street about ¼ mile, then left onto Benicia Road (westbound), then immediate right onto Lincoln Road East, stay right on Lincoln Road East (northbound), then left on Steffan Street (northbound), then enter eastbound I-80 from Steffan Street.

The eastbound I-80 onramp is on the left-hand side.

Detour signs will be posted. Motorists should allow for extra travel time and expect delays.
