Interstate-780 Ramp Closures in Benicia

Landscape Work Scheduled

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform landscape work on eastbound and westbound Interstate 780 in Benicia during the week of March 13^th with work to be completed on Friday, March 14th.

To ensure worker and public safety, the following onramp and offramps on I-780 will be closed with detours during daytime hours.

Thursday, March 13^th, Westbound I-780 offramp to East 2^nd Street

The westbound I-780 offramp to East 2^nd Street will be closed on Thursday, March 13^th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. As a detour, motorists are advised to continue on westbound

I-780, exit at Southampton Road, enter eastbound I-780, then exit East 2^nd from eastbound I-780.

Friday, March 14^th, Eastbound I-780 onramp from East 5^th Street

The eastbound I-780 onramp from East 5^th Street will be closed on Friday, March 14^th from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. As a detour, motorists should enter eastbound I-780 from East 2^nd Street during the closure.

Detour signs will be posted.

Motorists should allow for extra travel time and expect delays.
