State Route 92-82  (EI Camino Real) Interchange Improvement Project 

San Mateo County

Open House Informational Meeting

January 29,2014, 5:30 PM -8:30PM San Mateo City Hall, Atrium

The  California  Department  of Transportation  (Caltrans)  will  hold  an Open  House-Informational meeting to present the proposed  State Route 92-82 Interchange Improvement project to the public. The project proposes to modify the State Route 82 (EI Camino Real) and State Route 92 interchange to reduce traffic congestion, bottlenecks, weaving and queuing spillback at the interchange on and off ramps.

Caltrans has filed a Notice of Completion with the California State Clearinghouse  to prepare an Initial Study with a proposed Negative Declaration (IS/ND).   Caltrans has studied the effects this project may have and finds that the project will not significantly affect the quality of the environment.  The Open House-Informational  meeting  will be held to provide  the public an opportunity  to view  the scope of the project and provide comments. Representatives  from the City of San Mateo and the Caltrans project team will be in attendance to accept your comments and discuss the project. Map displays will be available for viewing along with comment cards for the public to provide input.
