Delays due to Paving and Concrete Median Work
Reductions Week of January 27th
NAPA and SOLANO COUNTIES – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will implement ongoing paving and concrete median work as part of the Highway 12-Jameson Canyon Widening Project in Napa and Solano Counties.
The work will require daytime lane reductions on eastbound and westbound Highway 12 between Highway 29 and the Napa/Solano county line beginning January 27th. Crews will reduce eastbound and westbound traffic on Highway 12 from two to one lane at various locations throughout the canyon. One lane eastbound and one lane westbound will remain open at all times.
This latest phase of work is scheduled to start on Monday, January 27th and be completed Friday, January 31st. Lane reductions will be in effect from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All work is weather permitting
Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel times.
Caltrans will also install changeable message signs to alert motorists.
Highway 12-Jameson Canyon Alternative Route

Eastbound Highway 12 motorists are advised to use southbound Highway 29 to eastbound Highway 37 to eastbound Interstate 80. Westbound Highway 12 motorists should use westbound Interstate 80 to westbound Highway 37 to northbound Highway 29.
