U.S. Highway 101 East Washington Street Ramp Project

In Petaluma Northbound U.S.101 Off-Ramp Closure

Sonoma County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is planning to close the northbound U.S. 101 off-ramp to East Washington Street in Petaluma. This closure is necessary in order to perform a lane shift from the right side to the left side of the ramp. The ramp currently supports two lanes and will continue to do so after this closure. The ramp will have four lanes upon completion of the project.

The closure will begin on Monday, November 4 at 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following day. The ramp will be open to the public on Tuesday, November 5 at 5:00 a.m.

Please drive cautiously through the construction zone and leave a safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you. Also, remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
