SOUTHBOUND LANE CLOSURE ON HIGHWAY 61 IN EFFECT UNTIL 3P.M. DUE TO EMERGENCY FENCE REPAIR

ALAMEDA COUNTY – Caltrans has closed the southbound #2 lane on SR-61 (Doolittle Drive) between Island Drive and High Street in order for maintenance crews to safely make emergency fence repairs along the right-hand shoulder.

Crews are expected to complete the repairs by 3 p.m. this afternoon. The #1 lane along

SR-61 will remain open during this operation.

Motorists should expect some minor delays as maintenance crews complete repairs to the fence at this location.
